Location Session Tartu brings together international experts and industry professionals  for a  seminar dedicated to the art, strategy, and future of location scouting and management.

Set in the vibrant city of Tartu, this immersive event offers a rare chance to learn directly from world-renowned location professionals like Lori Balton (Inception, The Revenant, Pirates of the Caribbean, Memoirs of a Geisha, Seabiscuit ) and Markus Bensch (Enemy at The Gates, The Bourne Supremacy/ The Bourne Ultimatum , V for Vendetta , Hanna, The Monuments Men, Bridge of Spies, A Hidden Life), while also diving into real-world case studies from the Nordic-Baltic region.

Organised by Tartu Film Fund – celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025, the fund supports film productions in region and helps bring bold audiovisual stories to life in South Estonia. Location Session Tartu is part of its mission to strengthen South  Estonia as a location-savvy, internationally connected film region.
