Lori Balton (USA)

Lori Balton is a pioneering location professional and the first to be invited into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Production Design Branch. With decades of experience collaborating with top directors, she has helped shape the visual storytelling of numerous iconic films. Lori is co-founder and former president of the LMGI, co-editor of Compass magazine, and a regular speaker at international industry events. Her career spans global productions, mentorship, and the creation of Location Lounge—an inclusive platform connecting film commissions and service companies worldwide.

Markus Bensch (GER)

Markus Bensch has been working in the film industry since 1992 as a location manager and supervising location manager and became a production executive in charge of locations at Studio Babelsberg . He oversaw the scouting and location management for films like Enemy at The Gates, The Bourne Supremacy/ The Bourne Ultimatum , V for Vendetta , The Monuments Men, Bridge of Spies etc. Markus has been nominated 3 times for an LMGI award, in 2016 for S. Spielberg film "Bridge of Spies“ , in 2020 for Terrence Malicks „ A hidden life“ and in 2023 for his contribution to the Netflix series „ Inventing Anna.

Matis Mäesalu (EST)

Matis Mäesalu is an Estonian production designer and art director with a strong background in both feature films and television. Known for his detailed visual storytelling and collaborative approach, Matis has worked on a range of domestic and international productions, including Melchior the Apothecary, Truth and Justice, and The Eternal Road. His work bridges historical accuracy with creative interpretation, making him a trusted creative partner for directors and cinemato-graphers alike.
Matis is also an educator and active voice in the Estonian design and film community.

Anna Hints (EST)

Anna Hints is an Estonian director and screenwriter. Her documentary Smoke Sauna Sisterhood (2023), rooted in the South Estonian smoke sauna tradition, won the Directing Award at Sundance and has been celebrated at festivals worldwide. With a background in music and experimental theatre, Anna brings a deeply sensory and poetic approach to filmmaking, grounded in local culture yet resonating globally.

Torgrim Ødegård (NOR)

Torgrim is a Norwegian location manager with experience in film, documentary, and commercial production. He specializes in scouting, securing, and managing filming locations, as well as conducting research to support visual storytelling. Ødegård’s notable credits include serving as the supervising location manager for the series Billionaire Island (Netflix 2024) and Beforeigners (HBO 2019 / 2021), and the series Valkyrien (NRK 2017). His contributions have been instrumental in bringing diverse Norwegian landscapes and urban sites to the screen and enhancing the visual impact of these productions.

Teija Raninen (FIN)

Teija Raninen is a leading figure in Finland’s audiovisual industry, with extensive experience in film production, location development, and creative economy strategy. As Senior Advisor at Business Turku and Head of the West Finland Film Commission, she has been instrumental in shaping regional film policy and attracting international productions. Teija also contributes to national and EU-level initiatives on sustainable and smart screen sector growth. Her work bridges the creative industries and public sector, making her a key voice in advancing film-friendly ecosystems and cross-sector innovation across Northern Europe.

Jurate Pazikaite (LT)

Jurate Pazikaite is the Head of Vilnius Film Office and a board member of the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN). She leads film-friendly initiatives in Lithuania’s capital and supports both international and local productions — with recent credits including HBO’s Chernobyl and Netflix’s Young Wallander.
With a background in cultural management and location coordination, Jūratė is a strong advocate for sustainable filmmaking and regional collaboration across Europe and the Baltics.

Tuuliki Oberschneider (EST)

Tuuliki Oberschneider is a location scout and manager based in Estonia, with extensive experience working across feature films, commercials, and international co-productions. Known for her eye for cinematic landscapes and her precise logistical planning, Tuuliki has contributed to numerous high-profile projects filmed in Estonia and the Baltic region. Last big projects include "The Agency" 2024 for Paramount + and 2022 Commercial of the Year award winning "Doc Morris, christmas" where she was Location manager and key scout.

Markus Langi (EST)

Markus Langi is an Estonian location manager and scout, with 10 years of experience of work across both local and international commercial productions, feature films, and streaming series. He is known for his sharp logistical mindset and strong management skills. Markus brings a deep passion to every project. Among his most notable credits as a location manager are the acclaimed drama series Estonia (EST, 2023), Scandinavian Silence (EST, 2019), Tenet (USA, 2020) and The Agency (USA, 2024).

David Zitzlsperger (GER)

David Zitzlsperger is the founder of Denkungsart GmbH, a Germany-based software company specialized in digital solutions for the media industry. He leads the development of Filmmakers System, a platform designed to support film commissions and regional film offices in managing locations, crew, and production infrastructure. With a background in engineering, media-tech and AI, David has worked closely with production companies and public film bodies.

Mark Harald Männik (EST)

Mark Harald Männik is an Estonian location manager and product developer specializing in digital solutions for film production. With a background in location management, he has contributed to various international productions, including the feature film O2, where he served as a location manager. Currently, Männik is focused on developing an AI-powered location management platform aimed at streamlining the scouting and coordination process for film crews. He is affiliated with Location Unit, a leading location services company in Estonia.​

Jaan Kronberg (EST)

Jaan Kronberg is an Estonian drone cinematographer and founder of Skycam.ee, a company specializing in aerial filming. With over a decade of experience, he has contributed to productions across Europe and Asia, including Estonia's Eia’s Christmas at Phantom Owl Farm, Goodbye, USSR & Bollywood film Kedarnath, which involved drone work in the Himalayas. Kronberg is known for integrating drone technology into cinematic storytelling. His work reflects a commitment to innovation and excellence in aerial cinematography.

Kaur Kallas (EST)

Kaur Kallas is an award-winning producer and technology innovator, known for bridging creative storytelling with forward-looking production technologies. With experience in both national and international film projects, he has worked across feature films, commercials, and immersive media. Kaur is the founder of Rebel Frame, a studio focused on combining cinematic craft with cutting-edge tools such as virtual production, AI, and real-time environments. Passionate about sustainable and efficient workflows, he brings a fresh perspective to the evolving role of technology in location work and production design.

Kristofer Piir (EST)

Kristofer Piir is a location scout and line producer who began his film career in 2012. After several years as a freelancer, he joined Allfilm in 2019. His credits include Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” (2020), AJ Annila’s “The Eternal Road”, and Tanel Toom’s “Truth and Justice”. He has also collaborated closely with director Eeva Mägi on projects such as the documentary “From Mari with Love” and the short film “3rd Octave F”.

Sander Lebreht (EST)

Sander Lebreht is a young and film producer, who doesn't say no to any challenges - big or small. He was educated at Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School (BFM). He has been involved with many different film productions including Tenet (2020), Omerta 6/12 (2021), but so far the most successful is his student film „My dear corpses“ that won the Oscar at the Student Academy Awards 2020.

Kalev Smidt (EST)

Kalev Smidt is an Estonian location manager and scout with extensive experience in both commercial and narrative film production. He is a key member of Location Unit, a leading location services company in Estonia, where he has contributed to a wide range of international projects. Kalev Smidt is known for Mask (2013), Maria paradiis (2019) and Apteeker Melchior (2022).
