At the end of the world, a man drifts into an unknown sea and arrives at a remote island. There, he falls in love with a giant maiden who expresses her affection only through physical closeness. Over time, the maiden begins to grow—both in size and in her demands. The man is never left alone. He realizes he can no longer live this way, but loves her too much to let go.
Thus, love turns into obsession. The man tries to escape, but his efforts are in vain. As long as the maiden is alive, there is no way out. He decides to end it all with his own hands. When he finally returns home, he feels his life has lost all meaning without the overwhelming love he once experienced—on the most beautiful island, farther away than dreams.
