Lake Pühajärv Hiking Trail

The circular hiking trail around Lake Pühajärv begins at the Otepää Nature Park visitor center and takes you on an exploratory journey through the surroundings of one of Estonia’s most distinctive and beautiful lakes. The trail is 12–14 km long (depending on how many detours you take) and typically takes 3–6 hours to complete. Part of the trail follows forest roads, while another section runs along the Pühajärve–Kääriku recreational trail beside the Otepää–Kääriku road.
