Ropka manor

Ropka Manor is a distinctive building that reflects both the development of the city of Tartu and the unique character of Estonian manor culture. The single-storey stone manor house was built in the first half of the 19th century, and the manor complex is located on both sides of Ropka Road.

Several historical buildings have been preserved, including a farmworkers’ house, a cowshed, a rebuilt stable and granary, as well as the park. The manor park once featured three ponds. On the western side of the servants’ house, in what is now a built-up area, there used to be a formally designed orchard.
