The main building of the Ministry of Education and Research
The main building of the Ministry of Education and Research in Tartu was constructed in 1936 as the Tartu branch of the Bank of Estonia. Designed by architects Arnold Matteus and Karl Burman, the building is considered one of the most notable examples of 1930s representative traditionalism in Estonia.
